Grr...
Well here's just a note for you to let you know that I haven't forgotten to write in my blog. I really and truly haven't. Things have been just rather hectic around here and I am waiting until the end of the semester before I actually sit down and post a lot of my writings. Believe me when I say that it is driving me absolutely bonkers not being able to sit down and write as much as I need and want to. Thankfully there are only a few weeks (stressful weeks, but a few nonetheless) left of the semester and then I can devote far more time to writing to my heart's content. Well that's all I really have to say for now. I look forward to posting more of what I have written thus far.

A complete chapter!
Yes you heard it correctly! I actually finished a chapter. Well the bare bones of it anyway. I'm very happy about actually getting a cohesive story down. It makes my thoughts seem a lot less jumbled. And that makes me very happy. So here is my post of my first chapter here! Yay!
Chapter 1: Life
I was thinking about her smile today. And his eyes. They were always so happy. Her smile could just lighten any bad mood that I was in. And his eyes? Ahh there was no describing the love I found there. The love I felt each time they took me in their arms and hugged me.
“Jenna where are you?!” I jumped as my name was shouted, nearly dropping the tray of drinks that I held. I was daydreaming again.
“Coming!” I called hurrying from the kitchen. Tonight was not the night to mess things up by letting my mind wander. Best not to dwell on the past. Especially when you couldn’t change it. I had more pressing matters to attend to. It was Friday and the restaurant was packed. But that wasn’t surprising. Joe’s Restaurant was always packed. And I couldn’t afford to lose this job. So I needed to be on top of my game tonight. (Cornell University in Ithaca, NY).
I hurried towards table four and placed their drinks down. Plastering on a smile I pulled out my pad and pencil, “Is there anything I can start you off with tonight?” I asked, playing the perfect hostess. The elderly couple gave me a friendly smile and gave me their orders. I gave an inward sigh of relief as I walked from the table, thankful that the couple hadn’t been upset at my tardiness. I couldn’t afford to lose business for the restaurant. I hastily returned to the kitchen under the watchful and scrutinizing eye of my supervisor, David. I held back a shudder as I passed by him. There was something definitely off about that guy. I shook my head again.
‘Focus Jenna! The orders need to get going.’ I mentally scolded myself. Tonight was definitely ranking up there with my toughest nights at work. I simply couldn’t concentrate!
“Hey Rach, I need a B.Y.O.P. and a Pesto for table four.” I called into the kitchen, placing the order ticket on the rotator and checking the orders of my other four tables. Table seven’s plates were just being placed on a tray for me.
The head chef, Rachael, gave me a pitying smile, her eyes crinkling around the edges, a wisp of her chestnut hair escaping from it’s bun. “Oh Jen, you look awful. Did you get any sleep last night?”
I waved my hand disconcertedly, “Nah. You know me Rach! I’m too busy for sleep…it’s vastly overrated.” Grabbing the plates for table seven I sent Rachael a cheeky grin, trying to ease the worry that creased her brow and hurried from the kitchen before she could question me further.
Rachael was the closest thing I had to a best friend. Though ten years separated us in age, she understood me better than anyone and she was always making comments about my sleep, or lack there-of. Though because she wasn’t in college, she didn’t understand my dedication to homework. She always complained about how tired I looked and how stressed I seemed to be. But that was something that couldn’t be helped. I worked six days a week in order to afford my apartment and college expenses that my scholarship didn’t cover. And when I got off of work, I spent most the nights studying and staying on top of homework. Cornell University was not cheap both money wise and sleep wise. But I figured that one day it would all be well worth it.
After tending to my tables, I checked my watch. It was 8:00. Only one more hour and then I could go home. The conversations, smells, and music were all starting to wear on my nerves and I could feel a headache creeping in the back of my head. Sighing, I headed towards the employee bathroom and went to my purse, under the table, retrieving my small bottle of Tylenol.
“Oh Jenna!” my co-worker Andrea squealed, skipping towards me. We were the only two people in the bathroom. My head gave a nasty little twinge of pain, reminding me why I held the Tylenol in my hand.
With a silent groan I straightened up and plastered a smile on my face. Andrea was the outgoing, bubbly waitress at work. She was blonde, beautiful, and had that exciting personality that the men just seemed to be drawn towards. She was a college student like me, but we ran in very different circles. Her life revolved around social excursions and new boys every weekend while mine revolved around work, school, and whatever sleep I could get. But she was friendly enough and we were actually rather close despite our vast differences.
“Oh Jenna it’s wonderful!” Andrea exclaimed, grabbing my hands. I closed my fist in order to keep a hold of my Tylenol. “There’s going to be a party tonight!”
“Oh…uh that’s really great Andrea,” I stuttered quietly, pulling my hands out of hers. Honestly parties didn’t excite me in the slightest.
Andrea just rolled her eyes at me, “Of course you aren’t excited. You hate dances. But I don’t get why!” She started fixing her hair, “Can’t you come with me just this once? I bet I could make you have a good time.”
My chest clenched in guilt. It was really sweet of her to invite me to a party, but the thought of being around so many people…I shuddered.
“I’m sorry Andrea, I just can’t. I’m really busy tonight. I’ve got so much homework to get done and my laundry is getting a little scary. Maybe next time,” I tried to smile in appreciation towards her gesture.
Andrea just shook her head at me, her mouth jutting out into her ever famous pout. I could understand why so many boys were chasing after her. That pout could make anyone feel guilty. “You always have an excuse why you can’t come out to do something. But I hope that you’ll come out one day and actually try to have some fun! Imagine the hot guys that’ll be there. Don’t you want to be around that?” Her eyes got a dreamy quality to them and I rolled mine in response.
“Not really. Guys don’t seem all that interest in me anyway Andrea and if I’m not there, then it’s more for you right?” I replied lightly as she sent me a grin, “But I’ll try to get together next time. I promise.”
And I meant it. I valued Andrea as a friend and I wanted things to last between the two of us, but it was just so hard to deviate from my schedule to venture outside of my comfort zone. I just couldn’t seem to work up the nerve to move from the stable life I had constructed for myself. It just seemed too hard.
Andrea clicked her tongue at me, quirking an eyebrow. “You really believe that? Guys are just falling all over you Jen, you just don’t realize it do you?” I stared at her incredulously. Was she seriously talking about me? I was plain jane, bookworm, workaholic. Who in their right mind would be interested in me? She merely shook her head in response to my confused look. “I won’t pester you to come Jenna, but next time I’m holding you to your promise.”
She gave me a cheeky smile and walked off, her I let out another groan of agitation and popped the pills into my mouth, not bothering to wash it down with any water. I needed to get back to work. I checked my watch again. 45 more minutes.
Thankfully, however, the rest of my hour ended quickly. I hastily gave my seating chart to Bridgette, my replacement and moved my tired body out the door and began my fifteen minute walk back to my apartment. The winter wind was blowing viciously and my teeth immediately began to chatter from the sudden temperature change. Pulling my wool coat tighter around me, I ducked my head and headed into the storm and towards the prospect of my warm inviting apartment.
Soon enough my complex loomed ahead and I gave an appreciated sigh of relief. The sooner I was out of this cold weather the better. My teeth were still chattering and my hands had gone numb. I hastened my pace, running up the stairs and jamming my key into the lock. Without too much thought I made my way into my living room and plopped down on the couch letting out a sigh of relief. Home at last. Now I could started on my mountain of homework.
I groaned again and sprawled myself on the couch.
“You’ll have to get up eventually Jenna,” I reminded myself, “The homework won’t do itself.”
Oh how I wish it did though! Sometimes the days just seemed too long and tiring to handle.
But I didn’t get up right away. Instead I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples, trying to ease the headache. I couldn’t hurt to relax for just a moment. To let my mind wander. What could be the harm in that?
I don’t know whether I had completely fallen asleep or not, but as soon as I let my mind relax images I never wanted to see again came flooding back. I felt my heart start beating faster, and my eyes shot open. I let out a strangled gasp and pushed the images back, rebuilding the wall that had so easily crumbled when I closed my eyes. No I definitely could not make that mistake again.
Pushing myself into a sitting position, I ran a hand through my tangled hair and glanced at the clock. It was just after one in the morning. I hadn’t been asleep for too long. Rising from the couch I grabbed my book bag and and headed towards the kitchen table. Now was the time to get my studying done. Perhaps things would go by fast.

A Cute little snippet.
Yes I realize that this post is rather short, but I couldn't resist. This little teeny tiny piece of a conversation that I'm working on was something that always makes me smile and I think that you'd like it too. Now before I get to the actual little conversation perhaps I should put some background on what I'm actually working on in case you guys are confused. You see I'm working on a novel where a young lady meets a guy who can travel through time. Now this may sound cliche but I promise I have my own spin on things. But since I don't want to give it all away I'll just give you the bare minimum. I hope that you will give it a chance! And who knows, there may be a day when this piece of work is actually published!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
“Of all the ridiculous things!” He muttered shutting his eyes in agitation, “A rational person would be thinking far differently than you.”
“Perhaps I’m crazy then,” I ventured lightly, “Why else would we get along so splendidly?”
He tried to remain stern, but the corner of his mouth twitched upwards. “You are completely ridiculous you know that right?”
“Of course I do,” I responded grinning. I knew I had won. It was always so easy with Adam. He was a pushover. “We established that a long time ago.”
Adam edged closer and grabbed my hand. “How can you be so accepting of all this? I mean it’s not exactly every day that you hear about a man who can travel through time.”
I shrugged my shoulders, “Well it doesn’t really change anything. I mean you’re still you and that’s all that really matters isn’t it?”
He just shook his head. “You are completely absurd Jenna.”
“I know.”

Late night inspiration
Isn't it funny when we receive inspiration? This little piece of reading for you, for example, is the result of a mind that was trying to shut down in order to get some sleep! But once the idea popped into my head I couldn't very well just lie there and ignore it now could I? I had to get up and actually write it down so I didn't forget.
Now I know I always say this, but I'll tell you again. This is a very rough piece of writing that I'm posting. In the future I may add or change a great deal of it, but for now it's really all I have. It's the raw ideas and thoughts that flow in my mind. I hope you don't stone be for it being so rough. But I do hope you enjoy it. And a happy Valentine's Day to you! Even though it's two minutes late!
Now I know I always say this, but I'll tell you again. This is a very rough piece of writing that I'm posting. Once upon a time…no that’s not right. This is definitely not a ‘once upon a time’ type of story. How about, there once was a girl…grrr! That’s not right either. Ugh this is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Once upon a time is just too cliché; too ordinary; too bland. Nope I definitely couldn’t use that phrase to describe my life.
Let’s just say this then: if you were to ask me about my life a year ago, I’d have to tell you that nothing out of the ordinary happens. I wake up and proceed to live out each day hour by hour. My schedule never changes. I never deviate from my pattern. In short, my life is rather boring. I am the classic overachiever bookworm college student. I have not life other than studying. Others would agree that I’m not the most exciting character out there. I never attend dances, though I have a few friends that beg me to join them. I’m not outgoing or adventurous in any way. I even thought I was rather boring too: nothing special to look at; nothing to appreciate really. So it was logical to assume that nothing would change. I’d stay in my happy little boring bubble.
Oh how wrong I was.
I never in my entire existence would have supposed that one tiny incident would lead to my whole world being thrown for a loop. I never thought I’d ever experience what life would truly have to offer me. In short, I never thought I’d find the spark that was missing in my life.
But find it I did. Or should I say that it found me?

Another Snippet!
Well here's another post for all those who actually read this thing. I don't know who you are or if you are actually reading this thing, but thank you! Replies and reviews would be most appreciated! I have two differnt little posts here. As always enjoy!
Chapter: Remember Me…
My eyes widened in shock and I froze in the sea of students all rushing to get to their next class. The person ahead of me looked so much like-
My heart started hammering erratically.
“Adam?” I whispered, tears threatening to spill, “Adam?” A little louder this time.
He stopped walking and turned to face me, a questioning look on his face. My heart stopped beating all together. It really was him!
“Adam!” I cried rushing towards him tears falling rapidly. I tackled him into a fierce hug, blubbering like a baby. “I-I thought I’d never see you again!” I cried into his shirt, “They said that you died that that you weren’t coming back! How-how did you…?” My tears were falling too fast. I couldn’t continue to speak.
“Uh,” His arms didn’t encircle me like they used to, “Have we met? Maybe you have me confused with someone else?”
I gazed up at him, confusion written on both our faces. “How can you not remember me?” I released him from my hug but kept a firm grip on his arms. “Adam it’s me! It’s Jenna. Don’t you remember anything? The traveling? Me? Don’t you remember me?”
“I’m really sorry miss. I just don’t think we’ve ever met,” He looked at me apologetically. I stared in disbelief.
“You have to remember me Adam. I-I love you. And you love me! You told me that you loved me! That’s why everything happened! That’s why you were hurt and-“ I couldn’t continue. They memory was still too painful.
“I don’t know what you think you know about me, but I’ve never met you.” He seemed a little angry now. My heart shattered. I released his arms and continued to stare at him.
Adam really didn’t remember me.
Then a completely irrational thought came to mind. Perhaps-
“If you don’t remember me,” I whispered fiercely, “Maybe you’ll remember this.” I grabbed him and pressed my lips to his.
He didn’t return the kiss, but froze. It was as though I was kissing a statue. I hastily pulled away and turned from him. I wouldn’t cry any more in front of him.
“Jenna,” he whispered. I froze, not daring to turn around. Before I knew it, arms were turning me around and lips were pressing to my own hungrily.
I knew who it was. And the tears of pain turned to tears of joy. I kissed him back fervently, praying that this moment wasn’t a cruel joke or a terrible dream.
After a minute, Adam pulled away and held me close. “I thought I had lost you. I gave up everything for you to be okay, even my memories.” He buried his head in my hair, “Oh how I missed you.” He recaptured my lips.
Chapter: The Secret…
“Adam wait up!” I shouted after him. But he didn’t hear me. He kept muttering something to himself and continued walk briskly towards the edge of campus. It was as though his thoughts were a thousand miles away. I sprinted to catch up to him, praying I didn’t run into anything.
Once he reached the edge of campus, where there were very few students, he stopped. His back was to me and he continued to mutter to himself. I stopped ten feet from him, panting from my sprint.
“Adam?” I questioned in between pants, “What’s going on?”
He didn’t answer. In fact he didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Something definitely seemed off. I hesitantly approached and reached up to touch his shoulder.
The air suddenly became thick with electricity. I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. And then the world around me began to shift and blend until it was all just a whirl of color and an immense pressure built up around my head. Adam’s arms encircled my waist, holding me tightly to his chest.
“Jenna just hold on okay?” He whispered in my ear. I closed my eyes to try and block the sudden nausea I felt.
And then I felt a rush of wind around me. We were moving. Fast. I yelped in surprise and things went dark.
“Jenna? Jenna can you hear me?” Someone was calling me. That voice was very familiar. “Jenna please you have to wake up!”
I let out a groan and tried to open my eyes. They felt so heavy. Adam was looming above me, concern etched on his face. What had happened?
“Jenna, are you okay?” He asked, pushing a strand of hair away from my face. I stared at him questioningly for a moment trying to piece together what had just happened. My eyes widened with realization. I bolted up, my head swimming from the sudden movement.
“What just happened?” I demanded, “How did we…that is what exactly…where…” I tried to searched for the right words. “Ugh! What’s going on Adam?!”
“Please Jenna will you sit down and rest first? I’ll tell you I promise, just don’t hurt yourself please.” He pleaded quietly with me. I nodded in agreement and sat on the ground again.
“Alright, I’ll take it easy,” I stated, “Now onto the explanation please.”
“I-that is well we travelled.” He stated simply gazing at me.
“ Travelled?” I questioned. “I’m not so sure I follow what you are saying.”
He closed his eyes and rubbed his temples, “You see you were right about me. I-I’m not human per say. I’m a traveler. “
“Uh,” I didn’t really know how to respond to what he was saying. It all seemed too strange. Yes I did know that something was off about Adam but I never would have suspected this! “You’ve got to be kidding me right? I mean it’s just not possible. You travel? Like through time?”
He nodded, “Yes. In fact that’s what it what I was trying to do when you grabbed onto me.” My eyes widened, “It’s sort of hard to handle the first time. That’s why you passed out.”
“Oh,” I nodded my head, still completely confused. “I travelled with you?”
He chuckled lightly, “Yes Jenna. You travelled with me.”
“So when you say we’ve travelled through time, what time period are we in exactly?” I quirked an eyebrow at him.
“Well,” He looked sheepish, “We’re six hundred years in the past.”
My eyes widened, “What! Six hundred years! Why couldn’t you pick a time that wasn’t so far from the one I was currently living in?!”
“Well I didn’t expect you to tag along for the ride,” He retorted glaring at me, “I just needed to get away from everything and the 1400’s in France is one of my favorite places-“
“France?!” I shouted, “We’re in France too?”
“Yes Jenna,” Another half hearted smile graced his lips, “It’s really quite nice this time of year. You said yourself that you always wanted to go to France…”
I rolled my eyes, “Yes but I never expected to go to France in the past.”
“Good point,” He murmured. He edged closer to me and grabbed my hand, “Listen Jenna, I really am sorry about this. I never meant for you to get caught up in this travelling business. We’ll go home as soon as you are able.”
“Why am I not able to now?” I questioned gazing up at him, “I feel okay right now. Just a bit light headed.”
Adam sighed, “You see the problem is, when a person has never travelled before, well it sort of takes a lot of energy for them to do so. Right now you are too exhausted to be travelling. If we tried, we’d be separated and you’d end up in a different time and I would have no way of finding you.”
“Oh,” was all I could think to reply, “I suppose it makes sense. So, uh, how long do we have to wait?”
Adam cringed again, “My best guess would be at least twelve hours, since it was your first time travelling. The more you travel the easier it becomes.”
“Twelve hours? What are we supposed to do for twelve hours in 15th century France?” I remarked.
Adam sent me a grin, “I’ll show you.”

Alright Alright I know I'm a slacker...but here's an update for you!
Now I understand that I haven't posted in forever! And I sincerely apologize for my stupid behavior! I really do! It was completely unfair to all of you who actually read this thing! Ugh! And I know I can't apologize enough to you about not updating sooner, but hopefully what I have in store will help to ease the severity of your anger towards me? What do you say? Hehe..well what I have is an extended scene that I'm currently working for the novel that I'm writing. I do hope you enjoy it! And as always feedback is more than welcome! Oh and by the way, Merry Belated Christmas and Happy New Year! My resolution is to finish one of my writing projects this year as well as catch up on some very good readings! Wish me luck!
And now without further hesitation from me, here is the scene. I hope you enjoy!
“Come on Jenna please!” Amy whined on the other end of the phone. I let out a sigh of exasperation and shook my head. Some things never changed.
“I can’t Amy you know that. I have so much studying to do. There’s a huge test next week and I’m not near ready for it. We’ll go out some other time. Promise.”
“Jeennnaa,” I cringed. More whining. “You never want to do anything fun. All you do is study! I just want you to come dancing! You don’t even have to stay that long! Just a couple of hours.”
I rolled my eyes, “I can’t Amy. I need to study. I promise you I will come out after this big test alright? Please I need to go. There’s a lot of stuff I have to get done. I’ll talk to you tomorrow alright?”
Amy sighed dramatically into the phone, “Alright alright Jenna I’ll leave you alone. But I’m going to hold you to your promise!” She bid be a quick farewell and hung up.
With a smile I turned back to my homework. I had a long night ahead of me.

I was having the most pleasant dream when my consciousness started tugging at me. With a sigh I rolled over and got comfortable again. I just need ten more minutes of sleep. My alarm hadn’t even gone off yet….yet something seemed off. I frowned. The sunlight was too bright for six thirty. What time was it? I opened my eyes slightly and glanced at the alarm clock.
“Shoot!” I shouted as I bolted up in bed. I was running late. Again.
“Stupid late night homework session,” I grumbled rubbing my eyes. After crawling into bed the night before I had completely forgotten to set my alarm clock.
I hastily changed from my pajamas into the clothes I had laid out the night before: a cozy sweater and jeans. And in a dizzying pace I pulled my unruly hair into a ponytail and slipped my shoes on. I brushed my teeth in record time and was out the door within twenty minutes. I didn’t have time for breakfast this morning but promised my protesting stomach that I would eat a large lunch.
In a flash I was running full speed towards campus, praying that I wouldn’t trip over something. It was never a guarantee though, especially with my coordination, or lack thereof. But I had to run. It was a ten minute walk to campus and I had about fifteen minutes to get there and be on time. And I couldn’t afford to be late again, so sprinting was a must. My professor stressed the importance of being on time. And I had been lucky to get into this English class.
By the time I made it to campus I was panting tiredly. Thankfully there weren’t too many people walking towards class so I had a straighter shot of making it to my classroom. I had five minutes to make it and be on time…
“Come…on Jenna…you… can… do this,” I chanted, panting heavily. It didn’t help that I had backpack that weighed a ton on my back. “Just keep going…”
And then things happened so fast.
I was so busy concentrating on keeping track of how much time I had left that I didn’t really pay attention to the obstacles in front of me. I slammed full force into a very solid person. I didn’t even have time to block the collision. We both went crashing to the ground, my heavy backpack pulling me beneath the stranger. I heard a loud crack as my head collided with the cold concrete. Pain erupted and stars appeared. I shut my eyes to block the pain.
“Ooow,” I groaned trying to move, but I was successfully pinned to the ground.
“I could say the same,” A deeply annoyed man’s voice remarked. “Do you make a habit of running unsuspecting people down each morning?”
I opened my eyes to look at the person I had collided with. His blonde hair was styled in an untidy fashion and his emerald eyes were glaring down on me, a deep scowl tugged at his lips. He was rather handsome I had to admit; A bit rude, but handsome.
“Sorry,” I murmured squinting at him. The throbbing in my head was terrible. “I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going. I apologize.”
“A lot of good that’ll do,” He retorted heaving himself to his feet, “I’ve already been trampled by you and now I’m running extremely late. Thank you for making my day start off so well.”
I slowly rose to my feet, wincing as I touched the tender spot on my head. He didn’t bother to help me.
“Listen I said I was sorry. It was an accident. I didn’t mean to run into you. I was just trying to get to class.” I glared at him. How absolutely rude he was!
“Perhaps next time you should be more organized.”
“Ugh! Just-Just forget it alright! I’ll try to remember to stay out of your way from now on!” I gave up trying to talk to the man, and hefted the strap of my backpack back on my shoulder and trying to hurry past the man. Now I was even more late, and my head was already starting to kill me.
But I didn’t get too far. The blow to my head caused my vision to swim momentarily and I stumbled, dropping my backpack. I stood still and closed my eyes momentarily, the throbbing in my head increasing.
“Ouch,” I whined, touching my head again. The pounding increased from the contact with my hand, “This is just not my day”
“Hey!” The man I had collided with called after me. “Wait up!”
I chose to ignore him and continued to walk towards my classroom. I had no hope of making it on time, but I still needed to get to class at some point!
He grabbed my elbow. “Hey,” He said in a kinder tone, “Are you alright? Did you hit your head back there?”
“I’m fine,” I retorted icily, yanking my elbow from his grasp. “And why would it matter anyway? After all I ruined your morning. What would you care about me?”
I tried to move away from him, but he maneuvered his body in front of me. I huffed in annoyance and glared at him.
“Listen, I…I just…” He was fumbling for words now, his eyes scrunched in concentration. He let out an agitated sigh and ran his hand through is unruly hair, “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have snapped at you like that. It’s-It’s just been a stressful morning. It really wasn’t your fault.” He shuffled his feet awkwardly and peered at me through his thick lashes, “So can we call a truce? I do feel terrible about my comments a moment ago.”
The look of chagrin on his face was so funny and endearing that I caved. He genuinely seemed apologetic. I let out a sigh and closed my eyes in resignation. “It’s alright,” I remarked with a wave of my hand, “We both seem to be struggling today. I am sorry that I knocked you down however..” I gave the man a half-hearted smile to show that I really meant what I was saying. He gave me a tentative smile in return.
“Well I suppose since that introductions are in order now?” I quirked an eyebrow at him, his grin widened, “My name is Adam,” He extended his hand to me, “And you are?”
I was momentarily caught off guard by his friendly attitude, “Uh, Jenna. My name is Jenna. Nice to meet you.” I grabbed his hand and shoot it hesitantly.
“Well, Jenna, do you mind if I were to make this morning up to you? Perhaps we could start lunch early?” I stared at him incredulously. Was he serious? This man had more twists to him than a roller coaster.
He must have noticed my expression because he began to fumble over words again “That is, uh I mean only if you want to. I just figured that since we are both already so late for class that taking a break from them might do us some good. What do you say?” He had his brow knit in concentration. It seemed as though he had been searching for the perfect thing to say in order to ensure my acceptance to his request. Clearly he over analyzes situations.
I must have been silent for several moments, because it was Adam’s turn to raise an questioning eyebrow at me, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. My eyes widened in realization.
I was staring at him. A furiously bright blush erupted on my cheeks
“Oh, uh, I suppose that would be alright,” I murmured, averting my eyes. No need to continue to stare at the poor stranger! How humiliating.
